Form of competition: two-day normal distance individual race

Day 1 (14th March): Normal distance Budapest Open Championship

Application: 14th March 2011 (Monday), from 8:00 to 09:30 a.m.

Without extra price in categories M/W21BR, 21C, 15-18C, 12C, 10D, F35BR, OB, OA

Start-finish distance (blue–yellow band): Day 1: 1100m/35m, Day 2: 1700m/50m

Map: 1:10 000 and 1:15 000 / 5 m, revised in 2010, according to IOF norms
Size of the maps 1:15 000 – 35×22 cm, 1:10 000 – 31×26, 34×26 és 21×30 cm
The scale for the categories on both days: 1:15 000 M(F) 21A,B,C, 20A, 35A
1:10 000 for all other categories.

Accommodation:
Youth hostel: Csákvár, Öreg tölgy, Szent Mihály square
Gym: Gánt, School, Béke square 20.

Prize giving ceremony: Spring Spartacus Cup: 15th March, Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. (combined results of the two days) Normal distance Budapest Open: 14th March, Monday, 2:00 p.m.

Prizes: in all categories the first 3 get medals, the winners of the graded categories get presents. In categories M–W14B (Gránás Cup) extra prize (Gánt, Gránás Centre).
At the Budapest championship (day 1) the first 3 get medals in the categories 12-21,
diploma for the rest categories.

Competition for children:
Start – Day 1: 11:30–13:30 Day 2: 10:30–12:30
Application near to the finish area, during the competition continuously
Short and long courses, without results, all participants receive presents.

Microsprint competition:
Start – Day 1: 11:00 – 14:00
Courses “A”: 917 m / 12 controls, “B”: 639 m / 8 controls
Application in the finish area, during competition continuously
Entry 400Ft (second course 200 Ft)

Other information:
– the SPORTident electronic punching system (SI) is to use, those who don’t have own
electronic card have to rent one; cost of rent 200 Ft/day;
– symbols at the start area (on the map, too),
– every competitors receive start number, which is obligatory to use;
– refreshing point – for M21A (both days);
– tea will be given in the finish area;
– buffet (with warm food) in the finish area;
– please defend the flora and fauna of the forest.
